Tour Talk with PROTOCONCEPT - VOL.15
My travels this week took me to Erin Wisconsin for the U.S. Women's Open at Erin Hills Golf Course. This public, daily fee, course has held a variety of USGA championships including the 2017 U.S. Open and the 2022 U.S. Mid-Amateur. With 5 more USGA championships scheduled in the next 14 years, we are sure to hear more about this wonderful golf course.

As happens on occasion, non of our PROTOCONCEPT supporters qualified for this event. Being such an important tournament for all the participants, not a lot of players were looking to change or try new clubs. That didn't stop me from walking around with a few wedges in my hands, showing them off to anyone with any interest.

Last week was a good week for a couple of our LPGA supporters. Haeji Kang finished in third place at the Mexico Riviera Maya Open. Haeji uses our irons and wedges and has been a loyal supporter of PROTOCONCEPT for years. Way to go Haeji!!

Also, LPGA player Jodi Shadoff (who I build a set of C05 TP's a couple weeks ago) has "put them in the bag". She used them in Mexico and had a nice week, having her best finish so far this year. She almost made me blush when she told me "I haven't hit a set of irons that feel and respond this well in probably a decade". I'd like to take credit for that, but I know it is the quality of the heads and not the club builder that made her give that kind of feedback. I look forward to working with Jodi more in the coming weeks.
Up next week - Off to Greer, SC. for the BMW Charity Pro=Am Korn Ferry event June 2nd - 8th.
