Tour Talk with PROTOCONCEPT - VOL.11
This week I traveled to Ivins, Utah, for the LPGA Black Desert Championship at the stunning Black Desert Resort. This marks the inaugural year of this exciting event, which will remain on the schedule for the next four years.

This tournament course, designed by legendary golfer Tom Weiskopf, boasts stunning views of the surrounding mountains with striking black volcanic rock, which contrasts beautifully with the typical desert landscape. The 2-billion resort, spans 600 acres, and will feature three courses, a hotel, condos, a water park, pickleball courts, and various other amenities.

Unfamiliar with course, players took extra time to thoroughly assess the fairways, rough, sand traps, and greens. They meticulously recorded detailed notes in their yardage book to ensure they were well-prepared for the tournament.

Fortunately, our PROTOCONCEPT professionals were highly satisfied with the adjustments I made to their current clubs for this event. Only minor modifications were required. Our PROTOCONCEPT clubs , across various turf conditions, simplifies my work. (I hope my boss doesn't take that a reason to dock my pay this week).

Up next - LPGA Mizuho Americans Open at Livery National GC in Jersey City, NJ May 5th thru 11th.
