Welcome to the PROTOCONCEPT GOLF TOUR REPORT
I’m excited to share my tour activities from this week’s tournament in the US. Each week, I’ll be reporting on PROTOCONCEPT GOLF’s tour activity for that event. Please check back regularly for updates on our progress as we support players from all the US Tours.
As Director of Tour Operations and Master Club Builder, I’m thrilled to provide insights into how we’re helping top players elevate their game with PROTOCONCEPT GOLF equipment. This is your exclusive look behind the scenes, so stay tuned for more updates from the tour!
Best regards,

This week I was at the PGA Shriners Children’s Open at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, Nevada. My goal this week was to get feedback from players that I have worked with over the years on a new product line that will be coming out in 2025. As expected, the overall feedback was very positive with some very good suggestions being made by a couple players. Players were impressed with the look, feel and performance of this product, with some saying it was one of the best they have seen in a while. All players saw an increase in spin as well as consistency in that spin.
Turf interaction was also a pleasant surprise for most. Being able to open up this product and still hit high spin, consistent shots really impressed our testers. As with any product, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While most found this product clean and very classic looking, some wanted rounder top lines or straighter top lines, squarer toes or rounder toes, wider soles or narrower soles. It is hard to please everyone, lol. Our team will be discussing these suggestions to see if it makes sense to incorporate any of them into the new line.
PROTOCONCEPT GOLF takes tour player feedback seriously but never to a point of compromising the overall playability of the product. Our clubs are designed to be used by all levels of golfers, not just the Pros.
Past testing on the LPGA, Korn Ferry, and LIV tours have brought similar results. Overall, everyone liked the product, but of course each player is used to seeing a particular “look” in the clubs they have been using. Fortunately, clean and classic is something most players have used at some point in their careers so it hasn’t been an issue.
Several players from all the US Tours have requested the product for testing once it becomes available. I’m looking forward to the product launch so I can begin giving it to players to work with and hopefully put in play the beginning of 2025.
