Tour Report with PROTOCONCEPT - VOL.33
This week's LPGA event, the JM Eagle LA Championship, is held in Tarzana, CA. at El Caballero Country Club, a private membership club located in the heart of the San Fernando Valley. The club was established in the late 1950's so the fairways are lined with mature trees and plenty of sand traps. It is not a long course but the greens are small and fast. Should be a fun tournament to watch.

All three of our ambassadors are in the field this week, including our newest signee, Jodi Shadoff. Jodi is striking the ball well, so if she putts decently this week she should be near the top of the leaderboard.

I spent time with all three players discussing their games and any concerns they had with the equipment. Jodi and I experimented with lie adjustments on the irons. After several adjustments it was decided that her original numbers were just fine. Sometimes thoughts creep in that need to be addressed to either verify that an adjustment is needed or to prove that it isn't. Confidence is key and removing those concerns can prove to be valuable.

One of the players I worked with a few weeks ago has decided that she wants to try our wedges with a different shaft option. She is just not comfortable with the original shaft choice we made. I will see her again the next few weeks and we will continue our experiment.
Up Next: LPGA Chevron Championship in Houston, TX. First Major of the year.
