Tour Report with PROTOCONCEPT - VOL.53
This week is the third of the four- event Korn Ferry Tour Finals, the Compliance Solutions Championship.
The Patriot Golf Club in Owasso, Oklahoma, hosts this event and is the last chance for players to move into the top 60 on the points list and earn a chance to play for one of the 20 PGA Tour cards available next week.
The Patriot Golf Club is hosting this event for the second time, so it is a new venue for any player that wasn’t in playoffs last year. Feelings are mixed as to what it would take to score well here.

The greens are very pure, but players will need to be in the correct quadrant near the pin to have a chance to make putts. Three putts are very possible if you don’t land in the proper area with your approach shot.
Lack of wind during the practice days made the fairways seem wide, but I’ve been told that if it gets windy (which is the norm around there), the players will feel very different about them.

It sounds like scorers should be low if the wind doesn’t blow, but if it does it will be a whole different story. Rain is predicted for this week which will make the fairways and greens soft. This course doesn’t drain well so delays are possible.
Luckily, with only 90 players in the field, there will be plenty of daylight to help with any delays.

There isn’t much to report concerning player interactions this week.
It appears that Mitchell Meissner will have our C01.5TH Forged Hybrid Iron #3 in the bag this week. The course layout favors our club over his 5 wood according to the conversation I had with him on Tuesday.

Mitchell is sitting in a good position to make it to the final event next week. He is also looking forward to testing a set of our NEW PROTOTYPE IRON MODEL which I will build in his off season.
Up Next: The final event of the season for the Korn Ferry. The Korn Ferry Tour Championship at the Federal Club in Glen Allen, VA. This is a new venue for this event and will hopefully be a good one.
