Tour Report with PROTOCONCEPT - VOL.52

This week the LPGA heads to Arkansas for the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship. Held at Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, this is the 20 th year of this event.

The list of past winners includes many players that I worked with earlier in my career. It would be wonderful if Jodi Shadoff could win this week and add to my list of winners of this event.

There were a lot of special things happening because of the fact that this is the 20 th playing of this event.

I heard the Pro-Am was extra special and more than a few players were late getting to the range to practice on Wednesday.

Being a 54-hole 3-day event, players didn’t arrive until Monday. Practice is held Tuesday – Thursday with the tournament rounds being Friday – Sunday.

I worked with Jodi this week on some fresh wedges since I won’t see her again until the Annika event in November.

She heads to Hawaii next week and then to Asia for 3 of the 4 events over there. She will be testing a new prototype iron of ours when she gets back from her time in Asia.

I am looking forward to getting her feedback on this prototype.

Tour players play an important part in the development of all PROTOCONCEPT products. Her input, as well as every tour player that tests our products, is important to the development of our clubs.
