Tour Report with PROTOCONCEPT - VOL.44
The Korn Ferry BLUE Championship is held at TPC Colorado in Berthoud, Colorado.

This is my first time seeing this 8,000 yard par 72 course located north of Denver. The views are fantastic and the course looks to be in great condition.
Last years winner was 18 under par, so even a course as exceptional and long as this one, can be mastered by these great players.

Dan McCarthy made it into the field this week.
We experimented with a slightly different grind on his RR 60SP Wedge. He wanted to be able to get a little more height on his pitch shots around the green.
His C03TC Forged Irons were not in need of adjustment for this week’s event.

Mitchell Miessner feels this course set up will not require the need for his C01.5TH #4.
Norman Xiong has 2 of our RR Forged Wedges in the bag. We are still working on getting him comfortable with a lob wedge.

The demo bag drew attention from two players this week.
The first is a new addition to the tour who qualified through the PGA Tour University program. He finished second out of the 10 players that earned status for the rest of this year.
He has had one top 25 already in his two starts. He requested a C01.5TH #3 to work with during next weeks’ time off.

The second player is well known and has a very well-known father.
Although he hasn’t been playing much lately, I hope he takes up my offer to build him a set of C03TC Forged Irons for testing.

Up Next: I’m off as both the LPGA and Korn Ferry do not have tournaments scheduled. My next event will be a "home" event. The Korn Ferry Evans Scholar Invitational in Glenview, IL.
