Pinehurst and Augusta, are both just a short drive from where I spent this week for the first of three straight Korn Ferry tournaments.
The Colonial Life Charity Classic’s inaugural event, hosted at The Woodcreek Club in Elgin, SC. is close to many wonderful and historical venues.
Designed by Tom Fazio, it weaves seamlessly through mature hardwoods, rolling hills, natural lakes and streams. The course is not long, but should give players a bit of a challenge anyway.
Due to the short yardage of this venue, our two ambassadors this week may not need to use their C01.5 utility irons. If the wind blows, that could alter things and they may need to use them.
Wednesday afternoon, I had another player show interest in our clubs and ask to do
some testing next week in Knoxville. Hopefully the testing will go well and we can fill a need of his.
