Tour Talk with PROTOCONCEPT - VOL.29
This week I attended to last regular season event of the 2025 LPGA schedule. Held at The Pelican Golf Club in Belleair, Florida, it is hosted by Annika Sorenstam and sponsored by Gainbridge. Besides the hefty purse, $3.25 million, this event is important because it is the last chance for players to move into the top 60 in the CME rankings. Those top 60 will play in the CME Tour Championship next week in Naples, Florida for a chance to be crowned the winner and receive a large piece, approximately $4 million, of the $11 million purse. A nice way to end the season!

As some of you may know, the weather all over the US was unseasonably cold this week and Florida was no exception. The temperature on Monday and Tuesday morning was in the high 30's to low 40's. Add to that, steady winds and you have wind chill temps right around freezing, not ideal practice weather. That coupled with the fact that many players were traveling back from the event in Japan meant that it was very slow on the range this week. I made my presence known and was there to help anyone who needed it.

As the season comes to an end, I can't help but feel like it was a good year for PROTOCONCEPT GOLF. We added a new ambassador as well as have few more testing equipment this off season. Our presence on tour has been noticed by many, and when we are there for another season next year, confidence in our product and support will grow. My hope is that we will start the 2026 campaign with more players using PROTOCONCEPT and can build a larger following going forward.
I hope you all have a great off season and Happy Holidays to everyone!
Best regards,
Steve Loerzel
