PROTOCONCEPT GOLF PROFESSIONAL SSU CHIA CHENG SECURES THIRD PLACE FINISH AT LPGA DANA OPEN

-Cheng tied for third place, her best finish of the LPGA season, playing with the TOUR-driven, Golf Digest "Hot List" C05TP forged irons-

ORANGE COUNTY, CA. – JULY 22, 2024 – PROTOCONCEPT GOLF, a luxury Japanese golf club designer and manufacturer, is proud to announce that company staffer Ssu Chia Cheng shot an impressive 14-under at the Dana Open in Sylvania, Ohio to enjoy a tie for a third place finish. The LPGA TOUR event was held at the Highland Meadows Golf Course on July 18th through July 21st.

"We applaud Ssu Chia for her bold and outstanding play. On Sunday she shot back to back birdies to remain in third place," said Marcy Kamoda, CEO of PROTOCONCEPT GOLF. "She played the award-winning C05TP forged irons to shoot four rounds in the 60s."

Cheng played the new C05TP forged irons in #5 through pitching wedge to navigate the Highland Meadows Golf Course. The new C05TP forged irons boast both forgiveness and accuracy known from their predecessor but encourage a better trajectory.

"3D CAD technology strategically positioned the center of gravity (CG) of each C05TP forged iron differently for a better launch and playability," added Kamoda.

The entire C05TP forged iron set has seen a notable enhancement in trajectory. The launch angle for the mid and long irons has been increased to encourage greater spin and enhance green-stopping capability. Meanwhile, the shorter irons have been designed to provide distance while maintaining a controlled ball flight height.

PROTOCONCEPT GOLF crafts golf equipment characterized by classic, artistic, and timeless designs, utilizing premium materials and the utmost craftsmanship. Their TOUR inspired line of golf equipment helps golfers to improve at any level.
