SAE8655 tougher than soft iron is used for the face.
High bounce and extra weight are created, achieving distance and straight-line performance, as well as enhanced forgiveness. By making only the center of the face thinner, the ball’s initial velocity is enhanced without increasing loft. Distance is increased with enhanced solid feel through the design featuring thickness deviation.
This model demonstrates resistance against mis-hits and strong straight-line performance, coupled with a feel that satisfies professionals.
With SAE8655 chrome molybdenum steel
The face is made thinner and high bounce is created by using SAE8655 tougher than soft iron for the face material.
By making the face thinner, extra weight is created alongside an appropriately low center of gravity through optimal weight placement. The result is a golf club that flies straighter with greater mis-hit forgiveness.
Unmatched thickness deviation
The overall thickness of the face is set at a slightly thick 2.7mm to deliver the feel of a single forged cavity iron.
The center left and right areas of the face are thinned to 2.4mm to enhance distance while maintaining the feel when striking and of the ball.
Optimized center of gravity design
In addition to the enhanced mis-hit forgiveness achieved through optimized center of gravity leveraging the pocket cavity structure for deep and low center of gravity design, the face size and sole width were made the same as those of CB.
This provides both a sharp appearance, as well as shot control and maneuverability that advanced players value, including capability to pull out of the rough.

フォーティーン勤務時代にツアープロ用のクラブ開発に携わり、名器「MT-28」を開発。
2006年に独立し(有)クールデザインを創設。
ヘッドデザインやソール形状など、使用プロのスイングに最適なクラブ設計やグラインドを各々行い、フィッティング支給することで多くのツアープロ、トップアマから支持を受ける。
プロギアの「MTI WEDGE」、ヨネックスの石川遼プロ専用モデルなど、クラブメーカーのウェッジやクラブ開発を手掛け、多くのヒット商品を生み出してきた日本を代表するクラブデザイナー。
ヘッド設計、デザイン、シャフト開発提案はもとより、ヘッド・グラインド、フィッティング、スペック提案、アッセンブリ及び調整まで、一貫して全て行う唯一のクラブデザイナーでもある。
